I’m Tanya Heidrich, an artist, designer and muralist known for creating infinite varieties of black and white patterns

As a multidisciplinary creative, I work across a variety of mediums, blending the boundaries of pattern design, street art, illustration and fine art to bring vibrance and personality to spaces. I’ve had the pleasure of creating unique artworks across the world, working on projects the likes of murals for cities and festivals, patterns for brands, paintings for private collectors and galleries, and illustrations for international publishers.

My work conveys the magnetism of the subtle details of our surroundings, by turning them into the protagonists: Extracting them from their context and playing with them through scale, line work, contrast and repetition, I enjoy transforming them into unique, often abstract designs with a handmade quality.

Originally from Switzerland and now based out of my sunny studio in Valencia, Spain, I’m constantly creating new patterns, all of which are available to license and use on a variety of projects and products.
